Andreas Balemi has been with expatpartners ag since March 2026 and is responsible for strategic development and special projects.
Andreas has over 25 years’ international experience in the fields of insurance and employee benefits. His career has included management roles at Swiss Life, Generali, Aon and, most recently, at a Zurich-based brokerage firm.
He spent a large part of his career in Asia, particularly in Hong Kong, China and Singapore. At the Swiss Life Network, he looked after multinational clients and regional insurance partners. He subsequently headed the Generali Employee Benefits Network in Asia and, as a member of the Generali Group’s Executive Committee in the region, was involved in various business development projects. At Aon, he was responsible for the Asian operations of Inpoint, a unit specialising in strategic advisory services for insurance companies.
Before returning to Switzerland, Andreas Balemi founded and ran a wine trading company in Singapore. He speaks German, English, French, Italian and Chinese.
