Benita Jönsson joined expatpartners ag as a Senior Expat Health Administration Specialist on 13th October 2014. Benita successfully completed her apprenticeship as a retail saleswoman and worked for several years as a management assistant in an electrical supply company based in Esslingen (Germany). After her marriage she started to work in her husband’s haulage business in the management. In 2003, following her relocation to Scotland, Benita worked as an account manager for IBM and later Lenovo. Benita was then employed by Cigna Global Health Benefits for 8 years. As an Account Executive she was responsible for German speaking countries, however predominantly Swiss companies and she significantly contributed to the expansion of Cigna in the Swiss market over these years. Benita was jointly responsible for the introduction and implementation of the “Cigna Swiss Compliant Solution” and is therefore well grounded in the area of compulsory health insurance for the Swiss market.

Benita Jönsson is fluent in English and German.
